Jessica Aronson is a NYC-certified eating disorder psychotherapist and supervisor who has been in the field for over 15 years. She utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring issues which include: EMDR, SE, IFS, ACT, RO- DBT, DBT, and mindfulness skills. At present, Jessica serves as the president of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation (IAEDP) in NY, and has worked on the board since the chapter was founded. In addition, she is a supervisor, and works with professionals, and students interested in becoming certified eating disorder professionals. She has lectured at colleges and schools throughout the city and has taught at CSAB. Jessica believes that collaboration is an essential ingredient for treating patients and works from a multi-interdisciplinary model. She is certified in relational psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, integrative trauma studies, and has completed the first level of training in both Hakomi and RO-DBT. Jessica is passionate about treating clients with eating disorders and brings a full and humble heart to her practice.
