Within’s enhanced remote intensive outpatient program (IOP)
More clinical care. More connection. More flexibility.
Our enhanced intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed for those who need more than traditional outpatient care, but want the freedom to heal from home. Fully remote and clinically superior, our enhanced IOP offers more than your traditional IOP, whether in-person or virtual. Benefit from extended contact hours with your care team, daily support, and a fully personalized schedule to ensure you’re getting what you need.
At Within, you don’t have to choose between quality care, structure, and flexibility. You get all three.

Family involvement is crucial
Our enhanced IOP provides specialized, evidence-based treatment for:
- Anorexia nervosa
- Bulimia nervosa
- Binge eating disorder
- Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
- Orthorexia nervosa
- Body dysmorphic disorder
- Co-occurring conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and trauma
If you’re unsure where you fit, our team will meet you with compassion and help you decide if our intensive outpatient program or partial hospitalization program is right for you.

Our enhanced IOP is delivered fully remotely, with everything accessible from our one-of-a-kind app. Even though your treatment is done completely virtually, you’ll still experience a deep connection with your treatment team and long-lasting impact.
With our virtual platform, you benefit from:
- All the structure and accountability of an in-person program, but with more flexibility
- A private, secure, and easy-to-use environment
- The ability to recover from home, surrounded by your support system
- No commuting, no relocation, no waiting
- A schedule that works for you
Whether you live in a rural area, have work or school commitments, or simply feel more comfortable at home, virtual care makes recovery possible—without compromise.

Within's enhanced PHP vs. IOP
Our PHP program is the most intensive level of outpatient care, typically recommended for individuals who need significant structure and daily support but do not require 24-hour inpatient treatment. It’s ideal for those stepping down from residential care or those needing a more immersive reset.
Our enhanced IOP, on the other hand, provides robust support while allowing more space for work, school, or home responsibilities. It’s a step down from PHP and a step up from traditional outpatient care, offering more flexibility while still maintaining therapeutic intensity. Both programs are available virtually, with live sessions led by experienced clinicians, and include real-time meal support, individual therapy, and group work.
Enhanced partial hospitalization program (PHP) | Enhanced intensive outpatient program (IOP) | |
