Remote treatment for ARFID
Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) can be treated remotely at Within. Although commonly associated with children and adolescents, ARFID can impact people of all ages and can present in tandem with trauma, anxiety, innate sensitivities, and neurodivergence. Our remote program serves people from ages 13 to 70 years old.

A tailored treatment plan
Whether you attend school full-time or are a busy working adult, know that your recovery doesn’t need to be paused. Your Within treatment plan goes where you go and is flexible to fit your schedule. Should your circumstances change, speak with your care team to adjust your programming.
Exploring food at your pace
Nutritional counseling is an important part of ARFID treatment. This, as well as other types of therapy and support groups, are all offered as part of our fully remote partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Our goal is to assist you in finding more peace in your eating experiences and to give you tools to manage the anxiety that comes along with this.
Although your sessions are all virtual, you’ll still have ample time with your therapists, nutritionist, and dietitian, and even have supported meals conducted via video conferencing.
