Dr. Caitlin Elsenbeck is a board certified psychiatrist who delivers compassionate and high quality care to her patients. Dr. Elsenbeck graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy, and a minor in Chemistry. She received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine before completing her psychiatry residency at Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as a chief resident in her final year. Dr. Elsenbeck is board certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Elsenbeck has a special interest in the treatment of eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, college mental health, and women’s mental health, including perinatal and postpartum care. In college, she was a member of the cross-country and track & field teams, which led to her special interest in the psychiatric treatment of athletes. Dr. Elsenbeck conducts comprehensive evaluations using a holistic perspective, and believes that physical and mental health are intricately intertwined. She works collaboratively and compassionately with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan. Dr. Elsenbeck strives to provide exceptional, evidence-based care in a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental way to help patients optimize their health, wellbeing, and quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cycling, spending time outdoors, running or hiking with her German Shepherd puppy, reading thriller novels, or pursuing her new hobby of astronomy. She currently lives in Georgia with her husband and two children.
