Caitlin Shepherd

Caitlin Shepherd is a licensed psychologist with over a decade of experience in the eating disorder field. She earned both her M.S. and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Colorado State University, and then completed advanced clinical and research training in the Eating Disorders Program at Weill Cornell Medical College/NewYork- Presbyterian Hospital. She has extensive experience treating individuals with eating disorders and other mental health concerns in a variety of settings across levels of care. She has also held faculty positions at several institutions, including Wesleyan University and Smith College where she taught clinical and research-oriented courses and managed an eating disorders research lab. As a researcher, she has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences. She is an active member of the Academy for Eating Disorders and currently serves on the Educational Programming Committee and as co- chair for the Technology and Innovations Special Interest Group.
