Dr. Sam S. Moss is a board certified adult, child, and adolescent clinical psychiatrist with a passion for improving health care delivery. Dr. Moss completed his early education in Montreal, Canada, graduating with degrees in molecular biology and political science. He obtained his M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine before completing his psychiatric intern year at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai at Elmhurst Hospital in NY, where he was awarded the hospital’s Patient Choice award for outstanding patient care. He completed the remainder of his general adult psychiatric training in Miami at Florida International University and Citrus Health Network where he served as the Chief Fellow. There he was awarded the Fellow Teacher of the Year and Fellow of the Year award for two consecutive years. He has been involved in several quality improvement and research projects throughout the course of his career and presented nationally at the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training.
