Deanna has over eight years of experience with treating eating disorders in all levels of care. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist.
Deanna has received formal training in many evidence-based therapies including dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention, and prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy for PTSD.
She resides in Oviedo, Florida with her husband and two feline “kids,” Napoleon and Seraphina, and enjoys music, reading and being in nature.
