Jessica Montoya

Jessica Montoya is a registered mental health counselor intern. She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a master's in mental health counseling. Jessica has experience working with clients of all ages in the field of eating disorders, substance use, and trauma. Jessica uses an explorative, and creative approach with her clients, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She is driven to help clients gain back their autonomy throughout treatment, and enjoys working collaboratively with their families.

Jessica has a passion for culture, and learning how an individual’s background has an impact on their eating disorder and mental health. Jessica is bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing her to effectively work with Spanish speaking families where language may be a barrier.
