Elisha is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified eating disorders specialist – supervisor. Elisha has over 20 years of experience in behavioral health working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has focused most of her career on working exclusively with eating disorders and has held various clinical and leadership positions at all levels of care. She has been instrumental in launching eating disorder programs in Florida and Virginia. She has specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family-based treatment (FBT), and mindfulness. She has provided supervision and training for those pursuing state licensure in addition to iaedp certification from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Foundation. She is the past president of the Richmond iaedp chapter, served on the iaedp national board as a chapter representative in 2021, and volunteers with the Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC) to support advocacy efforts. Additionally, she has presented at local and national conferences.

Elisha is passionate about ensuring that clients have access to care, and at the most appropriate level of care, and believes that full recovery is possible. She also enjoys educating and coaching family members and loved ones, as well as supervising and mentoring the next generation of eating disorder professionals.
