Lori Brown

MEd, RDN, CEDS, RYT-200, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Pilates Instructor

Lori is a registered dietitian with  over 20 years of experience who has supported clients with eating disorders in both intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care. She provides individualized nutrition therapy rooted in self-compassion, empowerment, intuitive eating, mindfulness and body trust. She also has specialized training in movement modalities, which she has utilized to create embodied movement groups for those in recovery spaces.  

Lori describes her approach as a clinician as relational, trauma informed and curious. Whether she is leading groups, in individual sessions, or exploring movement with clients, she is passionate about healing and cultivating personal goals.

Lori attended Central Michigan University for her bachelor's degree and then went on to complete her masters's degree in health education with an emphasis on eating disorder care at Plymouth State University. She completed her yoga trainings with Online Yoga School and Relax and Renew with Judith Lasater. Her pilates teacher training was completed with The Pilates Center. When Lori is not at work, you will most likely find her reading a book, spending time with her kids or playing in her garden.
