Gisela is a psychologist in private practice who works with individuals ranging from childhood to late adulthood, as well as couples, families, and groups. She has been in the mental health field for over 10 years, where she has worked in all levels of care and specializes in treating eating disorders and trauma-related difficulties such as PTSD, Complex PTSD, dissociation, as well as trauma-related addiction, compulsive behaviors, anxiety, anger, and depression. Gisela is also a group therapist at Within Health and Galen Hope Mental Health Treatment Center where she leads a variety of groups and explores a wide range of topics. She has extensive experience and training in Psychodrama, an experiential treatment modality that facilitates insight, personal growth, and integration on cognitive, affective, and behavioral levels. She is also trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Incident Reduction, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Dr. Gisela Padron attended Florida International University where she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and then went on to obtain her masters and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
